ComfyUI is an open-source, node-based interface for Stable Diffusion and similar models. Unlike prompt-only tools, it gives architects, designers, and AEC professionals control over workflows. Every step from prompt input to render output is visualized as nodes. Among architecture AI tools, its flexibility makes it ideal for experimenting with different design styles, materials, and visual atmospheres. In AEC workflows, ComfyUI is best suited for early-stage design and presentation. Architects and students can use it to test facade variations, explore massing concepts, create interior mood studies, or enhance BIM exports with stylistic renderings. It works as a fast ideation and visualization companion, not as a BIM or documentation tool. Practical uses include generating facade concepts, adding landscape or context to renders, experimenting with lighting and materials, and producing portfolio-ready visuals or client mood boards.
