Midjourney is a text-to-image generative AI tool accessed via Discord (and its site), which turns prompts into high-quality images. Among architecture AI tools, it excels at spatial aesthetics, lighting, materials, and atmosphere, rather than precise CAD or BIM-level detail. In AEC workflows, it’s most useful for early stage visualization: ideation, mood boards, facade styles, environmental context, presentation imagery. It enables fast visual feedback and creative exploration without needing modeling skills. Use cases include: generating concept renderings of facades or interiors; exploring lighting and material variations; creating environmental or site context illustrations; producing presentation slides, client visuals, or competition images.
