Trimble Connect is a cloud-based Common Data Environment (CDE) that centralizes every piece of project information, models, drawings, documents, and mark-ups, into a single coordinated workspace. Built specifically for the AEC industry, it bridges the gap between design offices and job sites, allowing architects, contractors, and clients to visualize and manage data in real time. Trimble Connect emphasizes data clarity and collaboration. Users can upload BIM models from Revit, SketchUp, Tekla Structures, or IFC files, and view them together in an integrated 3D environment. Its clash-detection and model-coordination tools help teams resolve conflicts before construction begins, while version tracking ensures that everyone works on the latest information. Trimble Connect also supports Mixed Reality through the HoloLens 2 and XR Viewer, allowing users to experience building models at true scale directly on site.
